Well things didn't go as planned with the paper but it did get done as well as I could do it without getting any feedback. While I was still short of my original goal of 12 pages. I did manage to write 9 pages that were helpful and imformative. Unfortunately my laziness has not yet left me. I started working on the paper around 4pm yesterday and decided to stop sometime after 5am today. Note however that there was a break in there for a movie and dinner. It was pretty fun, While I was working on the paper I turned of the TV and the only times it was on was when my parents were watching it. That is except for when I watched an ep of fresh prince with my leftover pizza at about 3am.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the progress I made over this break. Today I have a meeting with my senior project group once I get back to Chambana. Before our next meeting on Sunday, I want us to have the testing done for the features we have implemented, and have atleast part of the paper done. If we can finish it at the meeting or with a little work after that then we can hand it in to get some early feedback. We will also have our demo that week so we will have to figure out what we want to talk about there and somewhat prepare for it.

Also next week I have a very important Psych test. If I can get an A on that test I will not need to take that final and so I will have one less thing to worry about when Finals time arrives. The two finals that I will be left with will be very difficult and so I will need to spend quite a bit of time to prepare for them. Hopefully I do my planned lookover of the materials this week so that when I see it later it is easier to remember.

Aside from school work I also need to lockdown my recommondations and apply to the Grad Schools and brushing up my resume. I'm pretty sure that I will not be able to get into Grad School at U of I this year and if I get into UC Irvine I'm not sure if it would be the best idea for me to go. It might be a better idea to stay closer to home or start earning some money. Right now might be the easiest time for me to find a Job and so it's probably best to take this opportunity. Getting a job with my resume right now might be easire than getting a job later.

Today I was not able to get anything done. Partially due to lack of trying but also do to visitors. One of my uncles and my two little cousins showed up this afternoon for a little while and then later came back for dinner. I love hanging out with those kids but can't exactly play with/ watch the kids and do work. So I let them play some Sudoku which they don't really understand yet and I played some Phoenix Wright. I finally got some time to play the game so I do a couple parts of a case each day. The Game is pretty quality. My parents are going to dinner at one of my mom's friends houses tomorrow so hopefully I can get some work done. The plan is to get my embedded homework completly done and to either make a dent in some of my other work or get data for my thesis. Hopefully I will be able to do both, usually when I set goals for a day I only get about half of them done. This is a really big problem because I usually have enough time to do everything. It just comes down to lack of attention and concentration on my part which while I am well aware of, I am not sure how to fix. Ah well, Spending time with the family is generally enjoyable so it's all good, I'm sure things will work themselves out.

Well Today I was able to get quite a bit of work done. I finished of all my Psych online quizzes and so I was also able to get a bit of studying done for the exam as a result. I still don't consider the three hours I set aside for studying as done yet but I think it will be easier to do so because now I have seet the matrial twice. Once in class and once today while doing the quizzes. I still have quite a bit of work to do for other things and will hopefully be able to take something else off my todo list tomorrow. I might also update the podcasts on my phone as well as the music on it. That's a pretty simple thing to do so I will probably do that tomorrow.

Unfortunately everyday that I don't spend on writing my paper, just increases the number of pages I need to write when I finally do get to writing the paper. I think this will be fine because I like to finish things off all at once, that is why I was able to finish all the quizzes today. The more I work on something continually, the greater my comprehension of the subject becomes and so things get easier as time goes on. The one thing I will have to watch out for is that I will have to leave rest time between all the writing and a final check of the paper so that I have a fresh view when editing the draft.

Well so far so good, I will hopefully be able to get more work done tomorrow.

For the last couple of weeks I have been able to get my work done but only barely. It seems like I dont have a lot of time but this is because it seems like I waste as much of it as humanly possible before getting down to work. I think that at one point I had procrastination down to an art but recently it feels like it has completly taken over and I just keep putting things off further and further. Even though there was nothing I had to do today and I could have spent the whole day working on my paper and other homework I wasted it watching TV and loafing around on the internet. Maybe to fix this over balance I should do things way ahead of time. Perhaps I can regain balance by overacheaving for a little while. Unfortunately this is easier said than done so I will have to try my best. The hardest part is getting started. I can generally finish but I can't seem to get started. I'm gonna try my best this morning/afternoon when I wake up.

I was stumbling along with stumbleupon when I found desktop two this is pretty sweet. I haven't played around too much with it but so far I like it. I figure this will be a good place to have a blog. I'm gonna give it a try, see if this blog sticks.
